Why ? 

• There’s no point in preaching the Cross (or talking about Jesus making life better) if someone doesn't realize they're a sinner. Jesus Christ is their Savior, not their life coach.
• You bring them to a knowledge of sin by God’s rules, the10 commandments.
• They see their need for a Savior. 
• They see the danger, Judgment Day, the reality of Hell. 
• They see that God is rich in mercy.
• They see that God has provided a Savior, who suffered and died on the cross. 
• They receive the incredibly Good News as you preach Christ and Him crucified. They believe that His blood pays for their sin.
• You tell them that Jesus destroyed spiritual death through the resurrection.
• You tell them that they can have Eternal Life with the loving, gracious, Almighty God through Christ’s resurrection on the third day.
